More I-75 lane closures tonight as crews work to repair potholes

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Drivers can expect multiple lane closures across the Dayton area through the rest of the week while crews repair potholes.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, motorists may experience delays overnight while crews complete repairs and construction work. The majority of work will be focused on patching potholes that appeared due to recent weather conditions .

I-75 in both directions between Needmore Road and State Route 4 will see lane closures overnight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31 through Friday, Feb. 2 .

A similar overnight fix on I-75 last week caused chaos when the I-75 SB closure between Leo Street and Miller Lane extended beyond their 6 a.m. reopening time .

Crews will be patching potholes and repairing guardrails.

US-35 will see overnight lane shifts in both directions between Smithville Road and Spinning Road. Work will be held from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Jan. 31 through Friday, Feb. 2.
