OAKWOOD, Ohio ( WDTN ) — The principal of Oakwood High School was placed on leave effective Friday.
According to a statement from the school district, Dr. Paul Waller has been placed on leave effective Feb. 2. The reason for his leave was not made immediately available.
Oakwood High School students and parents were notified of the update through email on Friday.
The school district confirmed Waller’s leave with 2 NEWS through a statement. Read the district’s full statement below:
High School Principal Dr. Paul Waller has been placed on leave effective February 2, 2024. The District does not discuss ongoing personnel concerns, and further information is not available at this time. The District has taken steps to ensure that the high quality of educational programming at Oakwood High School is maintained during this period of time.
