Woman pleads guilty to kidnapping 2 Ohio toddlers

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The woman accused of taking two infant siblings from Columbus, dropping one in Dayton and the other in Indiana has pleaded guilty.

Nalah T. Jackson, 25, of Columbus, has pleaded guilty to two counts of kidnapping a minor. The US Department of Justice says a sentence of 20-years in prison is recommended by parties.

Jackson had been accused of taking a set of twins around 10 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2022 from Columbus, which caused a statewide Amber Alert to be issued. She took the kids in a black Honda Accord, drove to many locations and stopped at the Dayton International Airport around 3 a.m. on Dec. 20, 2022.

The woman left one of the two kids in the airport parking lot, and was found wrapped in a quilt between two vehicles around 4 a.m.

It is reported that Jackson took back off and ended up in Indianapolis around 8 a.m. The Columbus woman left the vehicle at a Papa Johns location with a child still inside.
