On February 5, 2024, at approximately 8:48 pm, the person shown in the image above was observed opening a Huber Heights resident’s mailbox.
The resident resides in Huber Heights and posted a video in Ring’s Neighborhood Community of the occurrence happening. In his post, he stated that he did not know who this individual was.
The video clearly shows a dark-colored car sitting in the middle of the street. The female exits the passenger side of the vehicle and quickly runs up to the mailbox and attempts to open the mailbox. While looking in the mailbox and pulling out pieces of mail she periodically looks back at the car sitting in the middle of the street. After a few moments, she is seen running back to the vehicle and leaving.
A few seconds after leaving, the resident can be seen opening his front door and retrieving his mail from the mailbox.
The Huber Heights resident made it clear that he did not know who she was.
A comment was made in this post by another Huber Heights resident. He stated, “There was a black Durango going down Brandtvistalooking in mailboxes also.“
