The Clark County Recorder’s Office in Springfield, Ohio, has partnered with GovOS, a provider of digital solutions for local governments. This partnership will introduce GovOS’s Cloud Search solution, an online search system for public records. This system will work with the county’s public land records platform, making it easier for citizens to access public records.
GovOS Cloud Search will allow county staff and citizens to search land records from 1818 onwards. The system can be used on mobile devices, tablets, computers, and county workstations. It includes filters and sortable grids to help users manage their search results.
Clark County is the newest Ohio county to use the GovOS Cloud Search. The system’s interface is user-friendly, similar to Google’s. It also offers advanced search options for more experienced users. The search engine can quickly deliver results from millions of digitized documents.
The Clark County Recorder’s Office is also introducing a property fraud alert service. Property owners can create online profiles and receive alerts if a document is recorded against their profile information. This service aims to offer additional security for property owners.
