DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Black History Month is in full swing and 2 NEWS is shedding light on local Black-owned businesses in the Miami Valley.
Phetheria Woodson is the owner of New Attitude Boutique, located at 5312 N. Main Street in Dayton. Her boutique has been in business for over 43 years, helping to style countless women with her unique taste and custom designs.
Local storefront helps Black-owned businesses flourish
She says running the business isn’t always easy but she enjoys what she does — making women feel beautiful.
“When any of my customers come into the store, I make them all feel special. I make sure that I get fashions that are unique, very classy,” Woodson said. “I love to serve the community and serve all the beautiful women in this city. I do all sizes because I think every woman deserves to be beautiful.”
