Dayton Public Health offering walk-in measles vaccination clinic

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — After a measles case was reported in Montgomery County, health officials are offering walk-in vaccination appointments.

If you are unvaccinated or unsure if you are vaccinated against measles, health officials are urging everyone to get vaccinated.

Measles case reported in Montgomery County, first in 20 years

Dayton and Montgomery County Public Health is offering a walk-in clinic where residents can get vaccinated with no appointment needed.

Those interested in vaccinations can visit the clinic on the third floor of the Reibold Building, located at 117 S. Main St., Dayton. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 11 a.m. and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

This clinic comes after Ohio’s first reported measles case of 2024 occurred in Dayton last week. This is the first reported measles case in Montgomery County in nearly 20 years.

To get vaccinated, bring your ID and insurance card. Vaccines are also available for underinsured individuals.
