Dayton man accused of shooting wife indicted

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — The man accused of shooting his wife to death in Kettering last June has been indicted on multiple counts.

Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck, Jr. announced Monday that Taveon Glenn, 27, of Dayton, was indicted for the shooting death of his wife.

The Montgomery County Grand Jury indicted Glenn on the following:

  • Two counts of murder
  • One count of felonious assault with a deadly weapon
  • One count of felonious assault causing serious physical harm

All of the counts include 3-year firearm specifications.

Local woman’s phone call takes dark turn

Kettering police responded to a 911 call Glenn himself is accused of calling in on June 6, 2023. He stated he had “done something to his wife and that she may be injured.”

When officers entered the couple’s residence in the 2500 block of California Avenue, they discovered 28-year-old Sierra M. Still with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators determined the defendant fatally shot the victim after an argument. The defendant allegedly took two of their three children to his parent’s home before turning himself in at Montgomery County Jail.
