ODOT reminds drivers to allow extra time during their evening commute. There is also a potential for a refreeze overnight which could make roads dangerous Saturday morning.
Loryn Bryson, the public information officer for ODOT District 7, spoke to 2 NEWS about what we can expect.
“Our tankers are starting to head out on I-75, we are hitting the pre-treating hard on ramps and the work zones. Tankers will also be working on I-675 putting brine down,” Bryson said.
More than 250 ODOT trucks work throughout the southwest Ohio area, pretreating and clearing highways and roads. Drivers are urged to give snow plows room to work so that everyone gets to their destinations safely.
