Multiple counties issue Level 1 snow emergency

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Multiple counties have issued a snow emergency cautioning drivers about hazardous weather conditions.

At Level 1, roadways are considered hazardous with blowing and/or drifting snow. Roads could also be icy. Motorists should use caution on roadways.

Snowfall, low visibility causes multiple crashes across Dayton highways

The following counties are under a Level 1 snow emergency as of 7 p.m.:

  • Auglaize County
  • Butler County
  • Clark County
  • Darke County
  • Logan County
  • Montgomery County
  • Preble County
