DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — One man was taken to the hospital after crashing into a ditch yesterday evening.
Darke County deputies responded, in correspondence with Arcanum Rescue, Laura Fire Department and CareFlight, to the 9200 block of State Route 571 in Arcanum. Crews were responding on report of an injury crash.
An initial investigation suggests that a Honda Goldwing struck a ditch after its driver failed to properly traverse a curve in the roadway. The motorcyclist was launched from the vehicle upon impact.

The man is reported to be from Dayton according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, and was transported to an area hospital for unspecified injuries.
The speed at which the vehicle was traveling is a suspected factor in the crash.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation of the crash.
