DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A popular outdoor festival is returning to Dayton soon.
The Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience, hosted by Five Rivers Metroparks, returns Oct. 5 and 6. The free festival will be held at Eastwood MetroPark, located at 1385 Harshman Road, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

During the event, attendees can try new outdoor activities, explore local adventure opportunities and shop from a variety of exhibitors. Last year, more than 14,000 people joined in the fun.
Activities and competitions
Five Rivers will have various activities set up to try out, including climbing, mountain biking, fishing, cycling, paddling and ziplining. Activities are open to all ages and skill levels, but participants must sign a waiver beforehand.
Attendees can also participate in a variety of competitions, from kayaking to fishing.
Outdoor demonstrations and talks will be offered all weekend for adults and youth. A full schedule of speakers can be found here .
