It’s a shame what’s going on in Springfield, Ohio. State troopers are guarding the schools. Bomb-sniffing dogs and security cameras are stationed around the city. City officials enacted emergency powers to address safety concerns after more than 30 bomb threats – so far, hoaxes – have evacuated public buildings from schools, grocery stores, hospitals and colleges.
