Two men arrested for allegedly throwing fireworks out of car at firefighter on his way to work

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Two men were arrested after they allegedly threw fireworks at a firefighter who was on his way to work. The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office says on Oct. 4 around 7:02 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Springfield Fire Station No. 52. When they arrived, the fire chief told deputies that one of his firefighters was on his way to work when someone allegedly threw fireworks at him from their car on Angola Road. The fire chief said the firefighter followed the vehicle to the 1500 block of S. Crissey Road.
