Robinson continues reign in central Ohio power wheels series

The Hot Shot’s Secret/Drag Champ power wheels series crowned its 2024 champions last weekend following the season-ending event at Northside Church of Christ.

Adelle Robinson, a Licking Valley student who hit 50 career wins, was series champion for 12 volt modified, where she won all but two races, and 24 volt modified. Robinson also took third in 12 volt stock.

Lana Gaither of Tipp City was 12 volt stock champion.

Gideon Wells, of Heath, took runner-up in both 12 volt stock and 24 volt modified and third in 12 volt modified.

During the final event, Robinson took first in 24 volt modified and runner-up in 12 volt stock, and Wells took runner-up in 12 volt modified.

Kian Stevens of Newark was a second chance winner. Wyatt and Weyland Coakley of Alexandria were honored for outstanding performance.
