What began as a romantic newlywed idea has evolved into a longstanding holiday tradition for the Smith family. “After getting married and moving to the Dayton area, we started talking about creating our own new traditions,” Rachel Smith said. “We decided cutting down a Christmas tree would be our new tradition.
