Strong wind moving through Ohio has knocked out power for residents around the Miami Valley, according to AES Ohio.

The number of Ohio residents without power has reached upwards of 5,500, AES says.

The county with the most outages is Warren County, with 4,152 impacted. Montgomery County has 1,211 outages.
The Miami Valley is under a wind advisory until 11 p.m. The wind gusts are up to 45 miles an hour, according to AES, contributing to the outages.
