The first snow chances arrive Thursday night into Friday where some accumulation is expected. Slick and snow covered roads will be possible for the Friday morning commute.

Confidence is growing that the Miami Valley will see a significant winter storm by this weekend. The system is expected to arrive in the region late Sunday through Monday.

“It is a little too early to talk specific numbers, but the potential exists for several inches of snow,” Chaney said.
