Another plane makes emergency landing at Dayton Airport this week

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A plane had to make an emergency landing at the Dayton International Airport, the second time in just one week.

Officials at the Dayton International Airport say a CRJ 200 Air Wisconsin flight was boarded and took off for Philadelphia from Dayton on Wednesday afternoon but was forced to return.

The pilot on board issued the emergency landing due to a mechanical issue, described as “vibration.”

Officials say the flight was only a ferry flight, with only two people on board to take the plane to its next destination.

The flight safely landed back at the Dayton Airport and was taken to the maintenance hangar.
