DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Some Greene County residents have been asked to conserve water, due to two water main breaks.
The village of Jamestown reports one water main break has been reported on E. Xenia Street in Jamestown, and another on W. Xenia Street. Both of the break locations are near N. Limestone Street in the village.
Centerville City Council decision on Sheetz reversed
The breaks have caused the village’s water supply to experience a “temporary strain,” so village residents are asked to utilize how much water they use.
“We are asking all residents to please be mindful of your water usage today and through the night as the repairs are made, and to help conserve water by avoiding unnecessary water usage,” said the village.
As of date, a boil advisory has yet to be issued.
