Recreational marijuana businesses temporarily banned in another local city

Another local city has moved to ban recreational marijuana businesses temporarily.

Clayton City Council rejected a recommendation from the planning commission that would have allowed marijuana dispensaries or cannabis processing facilities in the city.

Council imposed a moratorium on the issuance and processing of any permits allowing the use or sale of marijuana within the city, according to Amanda Zimmerlin, city manager.
