Ross family files lawsuit against Montgomery County Sheriff’s office

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF)– Monday afternoon the family of Colby Ross who was tragically killed last year in a high-speed chase announced they filed a lawsuit against several personnel in the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

“The evidence is so overwhelming that I don’t believe that any jury would be able to look at the facts and not rule in this families favor,” said Dayton Attorney Michael L. Wright.

On May 20th 2024, Montgomery County Sheriff Office deputies said they chased Melissa Hutchins at high speeds after she drove away from a traffic stop in the Miller Lane and Benchwood Road area…
