DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Family and friends gathered to remember Alfred Hale, a teen who was shot and killed while waiting at a bus stop in Dayton.
Community members came together to call for an end to senseless violence and to honor the live of the Dunbar High School senior who was fatally shot less than a week ago.
“We got to do better, we got to stop this violence and shooting and all this crime that’s going on here,” said Pamela White, community member.
Arrest made in connection to Dunbar student’s death
Police responded to South Jefferson Street on reports of a shooting on April 4. Officials say 18-year-old Hale was shot while waiting to catch a bus in downtown. He then went into a business just south of Wright Stop Plaza before collapsing…
