DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Community members gathered outside the Montgomery County Jail to rally against violence and abuse.
The Montgomery County Jail Coalition held a rally on Tuesday evening, on what would have been Isaiah Trammell’s 22nd birthday. Trammell died in custody of the jail in 2023.
Family sues county, jail medical provider over 19-year-old’s death
Those who attended the rally say they want to see more action from county leaders to prevent future deaths from happening at the jail.
They also want to see the jail staff involved in Trammell’s death be held accountable…
