NOAA maps show outlook for Ohio summer temperature, precipitation forecast

Ohio’s spring weather has been all over the place. From pleasant temps and sunny skies to gloomy clouds bringing thunderstorms , torrential rains that flooded several Ohio rivers and even trace amounts of snow, the Buckeye State has seen a bit of everything.

As we deal with spring’s ups and downs, some of us must be wondering what summer will be like in Ohio. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released its three-month weather outlook for May, June and July, taking us well into summer.

According to the NOAA, the majority of Ohio will be leaning toward above-normal temperatures this summer. NOAA forecasts a 33-40% chance of warmer than usual temperatures through July, including in Southwest and Central Ohio.
