COVINGTON — A narcotics search warrant execution by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office and Covington Police officers resulted in the arrest of a Covington man on Wednesday, April 30, after a several-month-long investigation.
Detectives executed the warrant at the 100 block of South Ludlow Street in the village of Covington. Items seized included methamphetamine, scheduled prescription pills, and items for packaging and selling narcotics, said Miami County Sheriff Dave Duchak in a news release.
Daniel L. Sampson, 40, was taken into custody without incident. He was incarcerated at the Miami County Jail and charged with felony trafficking narcotics. Additional charges are pending after a consultation with the Miami County Prosecuting Attorney…
