DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — Three accidental shootings in the past two weeks are prompting the Dayton Police Department to reinforce the importance of gun safety.
According to DPD, on May 21st, Major Brian Johns from the Investigations Unit said an 18-year-old man was accidentally shot and killed on Pinecrest Avenue while he and another 18-year-old were smoking marijuana and playing with handguns.
Then on May 26th, an 11-year-old boy shot his 12-year-old brother after firing an unsecured gun in their home on Riverview Terrace. Thankfully he survived…
