59-year-old Dayton man facing health care fraud charges

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man from Dayton is facing federal charges related to a national health care fraud investigation.

According to the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, Terry Hill Jr., 59, of Dayton, is indicted on the following charges:

  • Health care fraud
  • False statements relating to health care matters
  • Conspiracy to commit health care fraud

The Dayton man was allegedly the owner-operator of a substance abuse treatment recovery facility in the area. According to the SDOH, Hill is “excluded” from being a part of health care benefit programs, after being found guilty of Medicaid fraud.

It is alleged that Hill continued to act as the owner-operator of the facility, but “submitted more than $4 million in claims to Medicaid for counseling services that were not provided or were provided in violation of Medicaid rules and regulations,” according to the SDOH…
