CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) – A Clermont County man was arrested Tuesday for his involvement in the death of two dogs he was tasked with watching after their owner was arrested, the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office said.
Kevin Oberschlake, 59, of Franklin Township was charged with four counts of prohibitions concerning animals and two counts of abandoning animals after deputies were called on June 30 to the 2200 block of State Route 125 in Batavia Township by a recently incarcerated woman, deputies said.
The woman explained that the two dead dogs were her pets and that she left them in the care of Oberschlake while she was in jail, the sheriff’s office said…
