Jacob Brady, a 27-year-old man from Ohio, has been hit with multiple criminal charges after allegedly shooting a patron at Pat’s Bar in Dayton and making bragging statements about the shooting while in jail.
The Incident at Pat’s Bar
On June 22, 2025, Dayton Police responded to calls reporting shots fired at Pat’s Bar, a popular pool hall in the Linden Heights neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers spoke to witnesses and were shown video footage from the bartender that confirmed a shooting had taken place.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was allegedly shot by Jacob Brady, and witnesses claimed the motive was related to a love triangle. Brady had reportedly been interested in a woman who was already dating the victim.
According to the witnesses, the woman wanted nothing to do with Brady, which may have led to the violent confrontation.
