Dayton closes Riverside Dr. for sinkhole repairs, detours active until July 30

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — Repair work is set to begin after a six-foot-deep sinkhole developed in the Dayton area.

According to a spokesperson for the City of Dayton, officials are aware of the sinkhole that developed on the southbound lane of Riverside Drive and Ryburn Avenue.

Officials report that the sinkhole was six feet deep and six feet wide. To fix the hazard and maintain the safety of locals, the southbound lanes of Riverside Drive have been closed…
