DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) –It’s Celtic Festival weekend at RiverScape MetroPark!
Shawn Kain, Public Relations Chair for the festival said in the past, Daytonians had to travel to bigger surrounding cities for Celtic celebrations. But now, locals with Irish, Scottish, and Welsh backgrounds can celebrate close to home.
“This is a great opportunity, like you said, for people to come down here and experience the Celtic culture. All the other festivals we have down here, downtown, here at RiverScape and elsewhere, it shows what a diverse community we have here in Dayton.
