Dayton Public Schools hosting back-to-school event for families

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — This new annual event will offer students free haircuts, school supply giveaways and more.

Dayton Public Schools, in partnership with Events by Tae Winston will host the first annual “Family First Fest” on Saturday, Aug. 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at Welcome Stadium, 1601 Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.

Ohio tax-free shopping extended to 2 weeks

This free event is open to all DPS families, students and staff. Those looking to enroll at DPS can also complete the process during the event.
