DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — After serving the Dayton area for many decades, a local family is stepping away from the car dealership business.
Jacob Walker, general manager of Toyota Sales, Parts, & Service at Walker Toyota, announced Friday afternoon on social media that the Walker family is leaving the automotive industry.
“After 50 plus years in the Automotive industry the time has come for us to hang up our boots and move on to other aspirations,” said Walker.

Starting Monday, Aug. 4, the dealership will reopen under the name “South Dayton Toyota” and ownership of Performance Automotive Network, which is said to be a “long tenured local family.”
