Greater West Dayton Incubator secures funding for expanding entrepreneur resources

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — The Greater West Dayton Incubator expands to a new 4000 square foot building, bringing their resources under one roof.

The Greater West Dayton Incubator was created after conversations between the University of Dayton and West Dayton city leaders to help disadvantaged entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Director Juanita-Michelle Darden said this step forward will increase their collaboration and form a stronger community.

Over $2million in funding from Representative Mike Turner and the City of Dayton was secured for this expansion. GWDI’s new building is about 4000 square feet on the corner of West Third Street and Broadway, combining all of their services into the same building…
