DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A young man was hospitalized after being shot on Monday evening, and another was arrested for allegedly shooting him.
According to the Dayton Police Department, the shooting happened sometime before 6:35 p.m. Officers were dispatched to Miami Valley Hospital for an arrival with a gunshot wound. The young man, a 26-year-old, had a non-life-threatening injury. He told officials he was shot near East First Street and North Terry Street.
Officials said they found the suspect, a 25-year-old male, in the 700 block of Steele Avenue. He was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
