DAYTON, Ohio — The Dayton Foodbank held its last mass food distribution event before the new school year at Wright State University’s Nutter Center, aiming to support families facing financial strain.
Amber Wright, marketing lead for The Foodbank, Inc., said, “The cost of food remains high, the cost of utilities are rising, and back to school shopping is hitting families hard right now. So, we’re trying to give these families a little extra support during a time when they need it.”
