Dayton chef seeks community help after food truck theft

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — Local chef and entrepreneur Cece Collier is seeking community support after her food truck, Cece’s Kitchen, was stolen from outside her home in Harrison Township. Collier, who has owned and operated Cece’s Kitchen for nearly five years, said the theft occurred in the middle of the day while she was busy at her restaurant.

“We were at the restaurant and we were pretty busy. It was the one day where we weren’t home and it was gone in the middle of the day. 3pm, it was missing,” said Collier.

Collier purchased the food truck in the summer of 2024 to expand her reach to new customers in the Miami Valley. She described the truck as a significant investment and a representation of her hard work…
