Suspect in deadly Columbus shooting charged with attempted murder of federal agent

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — After shooting at local law enforcement and participating in an hours-long standoff in Springfield, a Columbus-area man is facing federal charges.

According to a U.S. Attorney of the Southern District of Ohio, Andre Jordan, 34, was charged with Assault of a Federal Officer with a Deadly Weapon, Attempted Murder of a Federal Agent, Discharge of a Firearm during a Crime of Violence and Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
