Parents struggling after Franklin Schools alter bus services

FRANKLIN, Ohio (WDTN) — At the start of the school year, Franklin City Schools announced several changes to their transportation program, which has left many kids without a ride to school.

Kindergarteners will be split up into AM and PM classes and high schoolers will no longer be bused. Any students who live within two miles of a school building will not be bused as well.

Why is DPS suing the State of Ohio over busing?

It’s been close to two weeks since these changes went into effect, and parents are struggling to adjust.

“It’s just chaotic,” said Harley Highfill, parent. “We’re struggling to get kids to four different schools with the daycare and all the public schools are released at the same time.”…
