MIAMI VALLEY, Ohio (WKEF) — Miami Valley Crime Stoppers issued a reward for information leading to the discovery of Erica Baker.
The nine-year-old disappeared on February 7, 1999, while walking her dog. Over the past 26 years, Kettering Police and other area law enforcement have worked to solve her case. Christian Gabriel was named a suspect in her disappearance, later arrested, and convicted of gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Gabriel served six years behind bars.
