Police presence expected Thursday on US 35

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Drivers traveling around the area might notice an increased presence of law enforcement on Thursday.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 4, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is working alongside the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Dayton Police Department to conduct a joint traffic enforcement detail.

During the time, law enforcement will be on U.S. 35 in Greene and Montgomery counties. Officials are focusing on lowering deadly crashes and reducing crime on the roadways.
