DAYTON, Ohio — Hospital system Kettering Health is once again offering hand surgeries for uninsured Dayton residents, otherwise known as “Hand Day.”
What You Need To Know
- To be eligible, residents with no health insurance must exhibit some symptoms
- All candidates must have a one-on-one consultation before Sept. 28
- All surgeries will take place Oct. 5
Applications are open, and to be eligible, candidates who don’t have medical insurance must be experiencing the following symptoms:
- Numbness or tingling in the hands or fingers
- Fingers that get “stuck” or are difficult to move
- Painful lumps or bumps in the hand or wrist
