DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Hundreds of people walked two miles at Day Air Ball Park to support people living with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis / Lou Gehrig’s disease) on Sunday morning.
The WalkALS event was organized by ALS United Ohio to raise critical funds the organization uses to provide free local services to people with ALS and their families across Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.
The event celebrated the community and welcomed people with ALS, their families, friends, caregivers and supporters, all united in the goal to end ALS.
