‘A long time coming’: Trotwood CIC, community discusses old Salem Mall Sears

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The future of the former Sears at Salem Mall continues to come into focus.

The Trotwood Community Improvement Corporation met with community members and business leaders Tuesday night to tell them about their vision for the building.

The building is going to be turned into a community-based marketplace, and the Trotwood CIC, which bought the old Sears building in 2019, is looking for local input.
