Dayton animal shelter offers free pet chipping

DAYTON, Ohio — This Friday, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton is hosting an event where pet owners can get their furry friends chipped for free.

It’s the humane society’s Chips & Treats event, and it’ll be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the far side of humane society’s entrance on Danner Ave.

The humane society said there’s no cost and no limit, and they’ll keep chipping as many pets as possible until they run out. Officials added with the Fi Nano chips they use, registration is free for life…
