Beavercreek man sentenced on child exploitation charges

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – A Beavercreek man has been sentenced on multiple child exploitation charges as of Friday, Aug. 8.

According to a Facebook post, Donald Sparklin pleaded guilty to 38 felony charges, including 23 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and 15 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.

The police stated that they began their investigation into Sparklin in 2023 and worked with Dayton Children’s Medical Center to discover that Sparklin was in possession and distributing sexually explicit images of children through multiple online platforms.
