University of Dayton students and Habitat for Humanity build home for local family

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A local university teamed up with a service organization to make the dreams of a family in need come true.

On Saturday, 430 first-year University of Dayton business school students, along with faculty and staff, participated in helping build the walls of a Habitat for Humanity house so a family in need can have a place to call home as part of the Flyer Nation partnership.

The Flyer community spent about five hours completing this task, splitting the students to work during separate shifts with a lunch break in between…
