Greene Co. superintendents release letter to residents on rising property taxes

GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – The superintendents of Greene County Schools released a letter to residents in response to rising property taxes on Monday, Oct. 20.

The superintendents of the seven districts wrote that other states fund about 10 percent more for education costs than Ohio, and homeowners are starting to feel that difference.

“Ohio has shifted the burden to you” was the phrase printed in bold on the letter to the Greene County community from the superintendents.
