DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — If you weren’t aware, there are still many Frisch’s Big Boy locations open for business.
Frisch’s is still here
In late 2024, a number of Frisch’s locations in the area closed its doors. Today, 31 Frisch’s locations remain open.
The Frisch’s locations in Miami Township and Troy are among those that closed in 2024. Those two locations were taken over by Michigan-based Big Boy Restaurant Group, a company not affiliated with Frisch’s, for a eatery called Dolly’s earlier this year. All Dolly’s locations have closed.
Even before Frisch’s’ competitor took over the two sites, WDTN.com previously reported Frisch’s senior management acquired locations and worked to allow the brand to continue.
